Thank you Frana
Need more pics please sir!!!
Busy with the overflows and down pipes and the tank needs to get on and off the shelf a few times for "fitting". Unfortunately I need help from outside to do that, which slows the progress down.
Should be OK next week.
Cor - if you need help, please shout
I second Paulines offer.
That's great, thanks a lot I probably need one more "off-on" move next week some time (I'll let you know when earliest), although you know what its like: you think its the last one and then you find that you need to get it off once more and perhaps once more again.
This is going to be an amazing setup!!!!!!!!!!
Can I re-post some of these images on our facebook group please?
ah so this is you, just came across the group on Facebook..
It's a group of us who live in PE and meet up every 3 months.
Really nice, we need more groups like that.. Any group in Cape Town?
I don't know of any groups in Cape Town unfortunately.
But it is definitely a good idea.
*apologies Cor for distracting from your awesome tank*
Of course. I'm not very FB literate, so I'll mail the pics to you, OK?
Thank you, not a problem - let your new secretary handle this one
Wow, this is such a good build... Now, to convince my better half that there is a wall here that needs a minor modification.....
Wait untill I'm finished. If the shelf collapses under the load, I shall be one of the most famous aquarists in the world
It's been a while, but there IS progress.
These are the overflows fitted into the tank.
And the exits on the other side of the wall.
Fitting the return hoses coming back FROM the bogfilter.
Fitting the elbow joints.
and the extension hoses.
The pipe distribution inside the tank (the return water is directed to cool the heat sinks)
A few details.
This completes the basic structure. Now I need the equipment to work.
But first: I must fill-up the tank!

The more I see the more I want!
Awesome awesome awesome work Sir!
I hope things continue to go according to plan!
Sorry guys, forgot one picture.
