This is my newest setup, decided to throw it together for my recently purchesed sparkling gourami with a tank that was sitting around. This was all set up in a day. I had to clean it out, replace the yellowed out light cover and prepare everything

I collected sticks, boiled them and removed the bark to create what I have here. They're very soft and hopefully don't rot too soon

    Here's some pics: 14972137265122129852163.jpg 14972137936491701106060.jpg

Still thinking of what to do with the scape, I'm thinking along the lines of a few crypts sp nevelli and some rocks to add. What critique or suggestions do you have?

Ja add some rocks. You could also make a sandy strip in front. For plants i suggest crypts, vallis and moss on the wood. Looks good so far

I had a feeling they would. I can't find any nice hardwood and all the spiderwood and stuff is ridiculously expensive

Hendre you are living in a place with lots of vineyards get some nice pieces and just have them sandblasted.

I have heard they rot quickly. I got a VERY nice piece in my snake cage that I would have used

My new cover didn't fit over the light well enough and I got lightly shocked while scaping. Shut down the tank for the time being :(
