    Over the weekend I had some time to play around with the new camera. Nothing fancy still using full auto mode for now. I have started messing about with shutter and apperture priority modes just to get a feel, but I'd rather not show those pics to the public yet :eyeroll:

    Try no flash, tripod, more light, set camera on sport programme to get highest shutter speed and widest aperture to reduce movement blur

    Hi Gerry, thanks for the tip.

    I played around over the weekend without flash using a tripod and the results were good but the tank needs some maintenance. Tonight I will be cleaning and trimming the 1.2 so expect some more pics.
    I decided to jump in the deep end and use full manual mode, I messed about with the shutter priority and apperture priority modes, but I prefer full manual mode.

    @Andre: Thanks for the compliment.

    No Flash works a treat, thanks Gerry. (Messing about last night and got kind of lucky; unfortunately I did not notice my reflection...)
