Yeah seen those a few times too they were so tiny, and apparently extremely hard to keep because they get bullied easily. I was just wondering cause i see marine sea horses often but never fresh water.

Those clowns don't look very happy...

Probably played with SG slowly acclimating both to get medium between the 2

That would be a ver very perfect setup to make it Brackish, I know Guppies can but the Gold fish and the Gourami I am not sure about?
The Sea Horse on the other hand is NOT that easy to keep and that make me wonder a bit...

The video is only 4 min long.... Who is to say those fish made it a week in there. In particular the sea horse......

I hate seeing stuff like this, it cheeses me off.

Ah, that may not be so. There is rumor of a freshwater seahorse living in an inland lake in Myanmar but the evil Military Junta won't let Oliver Lucanus or Heiko Bleher visit.

The marine fish in fresh water: the will die. That display is cruel. The inverse is true for freshwater fish. There are very few fish which can ensure both fresh and salt water. Rivulus marmoratus is one and the Zambezi shark another.

Yes, there may be a way to mix and even acclimatize the fish to fresh water but their physiology will malfunction in the freshwater and they will die slowly and needlessly. There are very few genuinely euryhaline fish and even these rarely do well in pure soft freshwater.

Question, is a freshwater seahorse still classified as a seahorse? ;) ;D

Hippopotamus is a sea cow!! Well in Afrikaans anyway... :p

But yeah, I agree with the rest. Don't keep nemo in fresh water. It's cruel.

Also, the seahorse is a Hippocampus species... Close enough. :p
