    Hi Guys
I am at present, designing a fully automated planted aquarium in Firgrove, with which I will be using the T5 tubes. They are a little pricy, but the output is far more especially if you have deep tanks. The ones   I am installing are 80w daylights, 1.5 mtrs   long.
The T8 tubes in that length only go as far as 54W, so the T5 HO are by far the best to cover a 800 deep tank. The tank will have 6 x   80w T5 and 6 x   T8.
I will take photos to show my design with reference to reflectors to improve the light output.
