    Hi,
I like two of your pics a lot....the rest are nice but these two I really like.
The one of the road from Greyton. Very Good...did you enhance the colour of the grass on that?
The other is the perpetual one... hotel swimming pool?
And also the lizards...I believe it is called an agama, we saw loads of them in Lagos and Abuja...why some one hasnt started exporting them heaven alone knows...they would be a real racket as they are so pretty.
    Cheers,
    KarelM

    Hi Karel

Thanks for the comments. I am still learning a lot, it is a good hobby to pass the time while I am in Cameroon with nothing better to do.

For the Greyton road I did play around a bit with the levels on the grass and clouds. For the clouds I also blurred the layer but masked out certain parts to get some focus at the lighter areas.

I hear you on the agama's. They are so plentiful in Douala it's crazy. They do seem to have a brighter red head than the Nigerian version. The little ones hatched around May, so we had thousands of them running all over the place. If it was legal to import them into SA I am sure we could make a fortune.

Andre I suggest checking out a few more tuts, maybe using the open tool for renders and outlining, aswell as using the blur tools to blend the edges.
    Just google photoshop tuts.
also the greyton road one, check where your colours blend and change, like the grass to the hills, it could use some more gradual fade of the saturation, if you want really cool picks like that, just make a fake HDR using 3 of the same image with tweak to each pic. there are a lot of tuts on that.
How long have you been using PS? do you have cs3?
I dont do much in the way of actual Image editing, I do more abstracted stuff, but it all links in my photobucket album has some stuff in:

    Cool Theos.

Thanks for the tips. I am still learning, so all are welcome.

My camera does have bracketing, but unfortunately not in RAW mode.

*EDIT* just checked out your photobucket account. Really cool. What about giving us some tutorials on how you do them?

I'll have to have a look around and see if I post some of my pics.
I now use a Sony Alpha 1. I am still in love with my Pentax K1000 which I have had for almost 20 years. I still dont do anything on the computer to enhance my pics, unless I make a face neon pink or soemthing like that.
...hmm give me a day or three and let me see ...I would like some crits on my pics!
