Hi guys. I moved a few fish into a temp tank so there is no gravel on the bottom now if you see the glass bottom and wondered.
I have 3 algae eaters. One is the yellow chinese algae eater ( i think that is what they are called) then i have 2 brown ones that looked identical to the yellow one when they were all small. But now they look different and the one is very fat...so i am not sure if she is pregnant or just over eaten...for a week now.
So i wanted to google what kind of breeders they were but dont know what specie they are. I attached 2 pics. one is what I though I bought 3 years ago and one is the pic i took now of the fatty.
They do not act like the yellow one at all, they yellow one is shy and hides but these 2 are so enquisitive and cheecky. if i do a water change the are constanly next to the pipe trying to taste the pipe and if a new fish gets put in the tank they chase it for a while trying to "taste" it. can someone tell me what specy they are?
sorry for bad quality. water still milky from the water treatment i added this morning with water change.

    thanx Martin

Looks like the Garra rufa, AKA Doctor fish.

I agree with @Chongkie, identical to the Garra rura.
(And I believe it is one/two.)

the first fish is not G.rufa but the last 2 pics are.
First looks more like Chinese Algae eater.
