    Hey Friends ,

Anyone know of some one that breeds Fire Mouth Cichlids ? Been looking for a few nice fish without much luck. Got a few nice ones at Loolilocks but bought them all out. I am looking for something from a different gene pool.

    Regards,
    Shaun

Extravagent Pets at Brightwater Commons (Randburg Waterfront) has some beauties at the moment. Be warned though their tanks are less then clean but the Fire's looked in good condition.

One of my favourite fish of all time!

    Thanks Kryo ,

I found some nice young fish at Loolilocks , they`re growing like crackers and are looking awesome. Two have paired off , maybe there will be some magic.

They are very easy to breed and fry grow very fast.

Wish I was "allowed" another tank! Would be packed with Fire's!

Mine are at around 1 1/2 Inches at the moment and starting to look awesome. I have them in an aquarium with Guppies at the moment ( yes I know ) , and they are doing superbly. Will try and get some photos to post soon. Hopefully they`ll spawn for me. :laughing7:

I also grew up in Brakpan , residing in Boksburg now.

I have two fertile pairs ( a dominant and a submissive pair ) , I think I may let the one pair go. They both matured at the same time , and both spawned in my community aquarium. It became a war zone.
