    I thought I'd post this here for those who don't browse other forums.

    Sounds very interesting. Most of the physics talk is a bit above me, and would probably require more than 1 read to understand it!

    So who is keen to try this out? Any electricians out there? I wonder if LEDs are all full spectrum...

    I'm very keen, i had a post earlier on about using leds, got them to dim etc controlled from a pc, never wrote the programme to chip, university decided that they would make me work:(

    I had seen other similar projects on APC but this one looks to be very well explained. By brick wall to progress is inevitably cost, leds are very very expensive! well maybe just very, like a one watt between 30 and 50 and a good luxeon 3w over a R100...I almost gave up until....audi came along with there leds, now im planning a trip to a scrapyard/ panel beater to try pry the lights out. No clue if this will work or not or how powerful the LEDS are.
