hi guys, okay so I'm looking into doing a full DIY only planted tank, and to see how well it would fare. now I know everyone has done this with those combos and that, and and and. but I would like to not use any of that (if possible ) to see if there are any other subs you can use. ( same with water ferts, but go into that at a later stage ). now I found some fertilizer, and wondering if it would work N - Nitrogen 21g/kg P - Phosphorus 16g/kg K - Potassium 13g/kg Ca - Calcium 110g/kg S - Sulphur 0.37g/kg Mg - Magnesium 13g/kg Zn - Zink 582mg/kg Fe - Iron 24.8g/kg Mn - Manganese 2.2g/kg Cu - Copper 121mg/kg B - Boron 25mg/kg Mo - Molybdenum 13mg/kg I do know this is/can be used for growing in an emersed setup. but would this work in a tank? I also know that inverts thrive with that in the water, and do not seem affected by it. have done a few tests in water, it seems to build up a lot of bubbles when they are bunched together ( not sure what it is tho ). but my question is, would this be safe to use in an aquarium setup? or just as a root tab? do have a plant setup under water with some as fertilizer. didn't see much growth first week ( started dosing my own DIY water ferts in that tank now. only 2 days in so too early to say if ther are any results. I'm also thinking I have a light proble,. so I got a new tube and will be dropping that in round the weekend.
