these would be expensive, about R900 - R2000 depenfing on strain measured size etc etc, i would like to do something like this on a pre order basis for serious breeders and enthusiasts

    Hi Singu,

I actually meant that you should send me prices of the fishes that you have left.

Of the fishes that you have shown above, I would only be interested in the type of the third fish, which looks like a red-spotted green. The others are sort of red turquoise type, but in my opinion (and this is my personal taste here, not a measure of quality) there needs to be more red. Also, given the price range that you have mentioned I would want to know exactly which fishes I would be getting and sizes etc. If you want to start this off, perhaps you can give us some names of the strains that may be available. The strains from the East also often have the craziest names, but at least this would give us something to start off with.

    Many thanks and kind regards,

    Dirk

hi prof, only saw the new reply now...

The prices i gave was just a rough estimate from what i saw them selling for in the US (the specific fishes in the pictures). Potential Show grade fish doesnt pop up on the lists often at all, and people tend to want to hang on to them when they appear. What is nice about the supplier is that you get a pic of every fish in a shipment, so you get a good idea of what you are getting. I must say that this suppliers service is excellent and not at all like some of the other stories i have heard, i mean he phoned me 2-4 times a day for a week after the shipment arrived to hear how all the fish was doing and if there was anything he could help me with, but all the fish did fine from day 1 after their 48 hour journey, had 2 that didnt look so good after i unbagged them and i thought they would not make it through the night (a huge wild X and a juvenile white diamond) but both pulled through. Only casualties i had from the whole last shipment was 2 jumpers.

Anyway, when i see some potential show grade fish in the future i will post pics of the fish and pricing
