So here is my tank - at best 23L, I can't find my ruler so I can't measure the dimensions. You will probably agree that I've made huge improvements since my last 3 tanks. Plants currently in: Bacopa Caroliniana Bacopa Australis Ludwigia Arcuata DHG Vallisneria Bucephalandra Biblis Anubias Java Fern Hydrocotyle Tripartita From this: Bucephalandra Biblis To this in 12 days...
Then 12 days ago, after some deliberate consideration from my godfather who also happens to be keeping fish and plants too, he decided to let me rescape his tank for him. I went on a Friday afternoon, spend the whole afternoon with him cleaning his tank out and transferring his fish to a temporary tank while we worked on it. Then I planted the same above as I had ordered enough to share between us. Pity I did not take a picture of it before so here it is currently now. Apparently the angelfish did not take so well to being in a new environment and went almost white. Then a few days later, its colours came out brilliantly. Note the color of the angelfish and compare to the one below. I need to go over and trim the plants and replant every trimming.
Yeah we are working on that - he has decided on DHG as he likes what it looks like in my tank and I think he has done some research too. Easiest carpeting plant for a beginner and for me, because it grows so well and easy to care for. Thanks, man, its great getting back into the hobby. Update on my tank
So my light has arrived from Amazon. Here are some pretty pictures And very happy with the purchase. Now I can go hide the tank in a dark room and say goodbye to algae!!!
