My two sterbai cories spawned this morning. :sunny:
I woke up and admired my new aquascape in the morning sunlight ;)
I noticed the two sterbai were acting weird, swimming up and down one of the huge Echinodorus rose leaves.
Looked like they were cleaning the leaf...
The next moment she started laying eggs.

I had to look around the side of the tank to see what was going on. So I moved away and left them to it.
(I took my dog to the beach)
When I came back there was about 50 eggs on the E. rose leaf ;unfortunately there is no way of getting a shot with the camera, It seems like shes is a very considerate female because she left some more eggs in plain view.

Now I am busy researching to figure out what next, any help would be greatly appreciated :thumb:

Nice Gawie, the re-scape must have triggered them into spawning. :)

    Thanks

    Ryan I've read that one.

I cut the leaves she laid the eggs on and put it into a breeding trap with some moss in the same tank.
I do not have anything cycled for them yet and I could not leave the eggs in the tank.
(The snails, loach or the perch would most probably eat them.)
So let see how this goes.

I went away on business for two days came back and found my sterbai eggs covered in fungus...
    Sad, but true.
Hopefully I'll have time at home after the next spawn so I can take care of the eggs properly.
