    Well....a sad day.

They broke into my house last night...+-3.30am. What I find hard to understand is how the hell they could break the burglar bars with out a noise, I mean we slept through the whole bloody thing....and to think... they came into the kids bedrooms and stole the cell phones, I was a nervous wreck the whole day thinking what "could"

What a crap situation our country is in.... Our IT guy got held up last week at gunpoint in his own home... If he didnt take a chance to run for the bathroom and lock himself in we would have atended his funeral, they already stabbed his back by then... And he lives in Northworld...
Peter, just shout if there is anything i can help with, you have my number, so use it
my deepest sympathy with this traumatic experience, it rattles you right to your core with the "what if" aftershock making it even worse... Just makes you wana wait on them and shoot the lot! Its tough... Sterkte buddy

Dam, that is realy sad to hear, but I'm glad no-one was hurt. Like Jp said, What a crap situation our country is in. I hate the fact that we need to lock ourselves up in our own homes and even then we are not entirely safe! :(

Hey guys, please do not turn this thread into a bitching session about our country. Negative comments do not help the situation at all as it turns you into a victim. If you don't behave like a victim then people will not treat you like a victim. Be strong, suck it up and get on with it.

Its bitching with reasoning Cameron... Our IT guy has a routine, but he broke it coz of sitting in traffic and being tired and bought bread at a caffee near his home, and a few minutes later he was a hostage... My parents went away for a weekend, and a day after they left they had to come back to an empty house... My friend had to answer a call while walking to the shop, moments later he didnt own a cellphone anymore...
Its just sad that we live in these situations, but there isnt much we can do about it, except hope that human life gets valued by the attckers... Possesions can be replaced in time, the loss of a father, mother, son, doughter, brother or sister can not...
You are right, we must suck it up and go on, but when somebody close to you survives one of these traumatic experiences it does make you rather ticked off with the situation....
Just my personal rant for the day...
