Amazing! Thanks for the help @BLA Aquatics
Always a pleasure
Ok, just want to clarify, am I able to order for instance 1 pleco and one pair of apistogramma, as long as you @BLA Aquatics get a total order of 55 bags?
Hi @CraigMiles. If we want to order more then we need to get more guys to order.
The Apostos are packed in Pairs with 55 Bags in a box.
What we well can do is take a bag of L Plecos (1 species) or Green Neons and then Fill the box with Apostos.
If we take less than whats on the list to fill a box then the Freight still stays the same but the price of the fish will increase. For this shipment we can only order what is on the list. So If someone wants to order 1 Bag of Green Neon Tetras which = R8.98 x 310 fish = R2783.80 for the Bag. Should we get more orders then we can fill a second maybe even a third box.
What happens once they land at the airport?
Oic, then we need to co-ordinate this properly.
Once they land at the Airport I will then sort those that need to be flown to Cape Town or Durban then Package them safely and send them on there way. The ones that are local will either then be collected at my house or meet at a point for collection.
We will definitely need to co-ordinate this correctly.
@BLA Aquatics do you have any idea what type of fish the Sturisoma panamense Pitero catfish is, is it a royal twig catfish, if I drop the Pitero I get that, but when I add it, I come up with multiple answers?
Any help would be good actually, if anyone has a solid answer.
@CraigMiles. When I google search the Sturisoma panamense I get the ROYAL WHIPTAIL CATFISH.
Cat-eLog Data Sheet
Scientific NameSturisoma panamense (Eigenmann & Eigenmann, 1889)
Common Name(s)Royal Twig Catfish
EtymologyGerman, sturio = sturgeon, + Greek, soma = body. The specific epithet is for the species country of origin, Panama.
Size200mm (7.9") SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
IdentificationAnother elegant species confused with S. festivum (and thus S. aureum). This species can be distinguished by the fins which, while spectacular, do not have the trailing extensions of S. festivum.
In the wild this species can be found in a water temperature of about 25°C, pH 7.4 and in strong current.
Anybody got some time and internet to post a few pics of the different species?
Ok Guys if you would want to order here is the thread http://www.apsa.co.za/xenforo/threads/bla-aquatics-potential-order.11779/
If you buy individual fish, can you choose sex? Say like 1 male 2 females?
The apistos come in pairs.
The list shows individual fish and pairs.
O sorry I did not check properly.
Hi BLA aquatics
I Want 6 of the L066
5-6cm will do
That is if you can ship them to Port elizabeth for me??
Hi Charles there is a minimum bag order for the plecos, you will see the bag qty behind the description.
The bag qty for the L66 is 1, so no problem there.
Ok my bad
I want a pair of Apistos and I think Pauline may also want a pair so Im sure we can split shipping costs to PE.
