Same size as always. Monsters!
Stunning but the way how the Vallis and crypts seem to flow in opposite directions bugs me.
Thanks. Not sure why they do that. Flow is left to right. There is a small internal filter back right facing forward but it doesn't generate that much flow.
Maybe if the vallis weren't so bent over it wouldn't be such a contrast. Will adjust the spraybar more towards the surface to see if it helps.
You are a brave man for running an HM Carpet! As pretty as it is, its actually a pest of a plant! But I love your tank, I think sometimes people forget just how awesome a low tech plant scape can look. Sure you are running CO2. Regardless, very nice!
Ah that explains - the spraybar.
Damn beautiful tank!!! Very inspiring
The crypts are a bit big for their position in the tank, giving them a more commanding view. A somewhat shorter variety may do the trick.
Please don't encourage him @Greystoke, it took me several years of struggle to get him down to a couple of types and you could potentially nullify this with just one post
Thanks very much. It's an ever evolving work in progress.
I have been contemplating this for awhile. My wife doesn't like the crypts "they look like they are dying". What plant stays small with colour? I don't want the tank to be too green.
Ha ha ha. You'll be happy to know I only have 5 plants types
Perhaps those Cryptocoryne petchii pink from anubias...
they are not as brown looking and are smaller. In high light they are nicely coloured..
Anybody know where I can get cryptocoryne petchii pink?
Hook, line and sinker, @Joshua Tree think you need to check your pm from @Trev Pleco.
So sorry. hé hé
lol, I don't have any available at the moment, but will probably have some if and when I rescape.
No problems. I'm sure I can find a few swords to replace the crypts
Dont look like you going to convert this one. @Trev Pleco
