Stunning but the way how the Vallis and crypts seem to flow in opposite directions bugs me.

Thanks. Not sure why they do that. Flow is left to right. There is a small internal filter back right facing forward but it doesn't generate that much flow.

Maybe if the vallis weren't so bent over it wouldn't be such a contrast. Will adjust the spraybar more towards the surface to see if it helps.

You are a brave man for running an HM Carpet! As pretty as it is, its actually a pest of a plant! But I love your tank, I think sometimes people forget just how awesome a low tech plant scape can look. Sure you are running CO2. Regardless, very nice!

The crypts are a bit big for their position in the tank, giving them a more commanding view. A somewhat shorter variety may do the trick.

Please don't encourage him @Greystoke, it took me several years of struggle to get him down to a couple of types and you could potentially nullify this with just one post :)

I have been contemplating this for awhile. My wife doesn't like the crypts "they look like they are dying". What plant stays small with colour? I don't want the tank to be too green.

No problems. I'm sure I can find a few swords to replace the crypts :)
