    No need to swap, just come and choose, I have a large selection of sizes, be warned though, the big ones are very heavy, so I?ll just have to watch you load?lol :evil

    Wow, that limnophila was really taking over the tank.

    Your tank is looking great, I like how there's a transition from greens on the left to reds on the right. I'd be tempted to let the hydrocotlye on the left fill up the top left corner a bit more to give more of a sloping effect down to the right, but that's just me :p

    yeah thats what i was planning, and the difformis also needs to grow out a bit, and you cant really see it but there a few stems of purple cabomba, which are brownish, in the back right, so once they thicken up a bit i should have a nice slope from left to right following the driftwood, and moving from green to red to brown.

    i was thinking of moving the lotus to where the big kleiner bar is, and then move the big one to where the little one is, and then the little one to where the lotus was, but i dont want the color lines to be too defined either... i will have to see how i feel about it this weekend.

    Re: 200l update 06082008 ( trim and replant !=56k )

    Hi Raymond

    I actually had the same plant in my tank (before I moved). http://www.apsa.co.za/board/http://www. ... 4708
    At that stage I thought it was Echinodorus rubra "variegata" but I think you are right in ID'ing it as "kleiner bar". If you manage to propogate it I would be very interested.

    Hi,
    I would keep as many of them red palnts...you hardly ever see a tank with loads of red in it!
    Makes for a lovely change. And I like this tank more and more!
    Cheers,

    @andre - i got them at vip pets in northgate, they had a load of them, if mine shoot any plantlets, i will gladly share

    @turando101 - thanks dood, sometimes too much red is frowned on, but it should even out once the greens grow in.

    @theos - thanks man!

    Re: 200l update 06082008 ( trim and replant !=56k )

    Awesome Awesome Awesome WBS!

    Re the difformis, let it float on top of the water surface...it will grow much faster and roots will shoot downwards in absolutely no time at all. One the plant has grown on the surface, you can then plant it if you want it in a specific area in your tank.

    Re the lotus, I think it would be better to move it in the middle of the tank but behind the driftwood where the red and green meet each other. I think the red lotus leaves shooting to the top will have a nice 'over-hanging' effect where the red & green meet each other

    But once again, looks absolutely gr8! ... no only for a Barclaya somewhere ;)

    Cheers mate

    @risen - i bought 7 or so pieces of nice wood from animal kingdom in hillfox, then i chose the ones that fitted together best in an arrangement i liked and screwed them together with stainless steel screws...

    WBS, like everyone else has said, great looking tank, you really have some nice looking reds in there.
    Was wondering if you could name the one just behind the echinodorus kleiner bar on the right hand side?

    yup solex69 is correct, just normal alteranthera reineckii, the one with green on top and pinkish red underneath, in this tank, the tops of the leaves have also gone red, no green anymore, and it has gone really bushy...

    Your arrangement is cleverly done and you have blended the colours to perfection, a total inspiration.

    Hi WBS. What is the fine plant matter floating in the top left corner of your tank? Looks interesting. Has it got a name? That piece of wood really is stunning.
