I think it must be a first for a fish based web forum to have a husband and wife postinmg together, pretty cool Damn, Melissa's taken? :evil
Hehehe Cameron, you remind me of a certain opportunistic Oscar.... ask her out,... that's the only way you will know for sure
Well just a few days back Melissa was wanting to do her 'naked girls in the jungle' impression for me when I get to CT. Just kidding and all that... don't take me seriously
I have always wanted to keep some nice severums like that. One day I will when I have a big enough tank
Ah... I am so glad that I am married.... No more "is she interested?" "Isn't she!?" "What the heck is a naked monkey dance anyways!?" Just, morning hun, a peck on the lips and all is well with the world...
Does this mean you are visiting CT soon Cameron? If you are I am surprised Henk hasn't organised a get-together already As for naked girls in the jungle.... I won't ask ;p
I'd like to visit during the course of the year to meet all of you, yes. But am planning on moving down there early next year... YAY. :cartman2: Really looking forward to putting faces to all the online names. :yes Sorry for taking the thread off topic, but seeing as I'm the admin I can get away with stuff like that :sch
Just because you're married does'nt mean you have to stop trying to be romantic, you still need to nurture the relationship as far as I'm concerned. Maybe I'm just old school
Now Thats the truth Cameron. (The kids nowadays just have no clue hey ;-)) The real effort starts once you're married. Getting to that point is the easy bit. Edit: Back to the topic at hand. Absolutely stunning fish Kim, been secretly wanting to keep one for a long time but never had the setup to do it.
Kids, Exactly I agree they are stunning fish, at one point I had a trio of them in my planted tank. All was well for a few months and then they got a taste for my plants and decided it was their very own personal salad bar to which they helped themselves to like a vegetarian who has'nt seen food for a month. They trashed my tank completely, needless to say I had to give them away! Moral of the story: don't get these fish if you value your plants
Cameron, you are very right when you say marriage requires constant nurturing, Steve and I have been together for 23 years and we celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary on Friday the 2nd. We have had our share of ups and downs, but a good sense of humour, the ability to communicate and sharing similiar interests have seen us through the bad days. Gawie - sadly I can't take any credit yet for the condition of the severum, but in a few months time when I post some updates I will gladly take full credit
Hehehehe, sounds like Steve and his bristlenose vs sword issue. I have an oscar... plants have a limited life span in my tank - especially annubias for some odd reason.
Cameron just kiding on the "Kids" bit. (The wife and I have been together for like 14 years - married for 4) Kim Henk had an Albino one that was absolutely stunning. Fell in love with it then. Someday I'll have enough space for all the tanks I want.
Gawie, i hear you on the space issue.... I'm counting the days till the kids move out so we have more room for tanks too
