It is with a sad heart that I am considering selling one of my tanks.. I guess it is time to trim down again.

    The tank is 1.3 x 45(w) x 50(h)

The tank is on poly & marine board, metal stand the whole trip.

I have had my fish for quite a long time so most of them are fully grown.. I will be selling

    3 x clown loaches
    1 x polka dot loach
    Red Tail shark
    Orange algae eater
    Humbug Catfish
Mating pair of angels ( marble male, koi female)
    A stunning red deacon
    3 x silver dollars
    A shoal of harlequins
    2 x keyholes
and a few odd's and sods.

    Plastic plants
    Gravel
    Heaters
    Lights (acua glo )
    external cannister filter ( H2O )
    air pump's etc

Any offers ? I have not considered a price yet.

Red Deacon will go to someone who is planning to breed if possible.

    Hi Murray

I have a group of 6 deacons at home. I'm interested in the setup, but IIRC you are in Joburg?

Not sure if you want to sell all in one deal but if you consider selling the clown loaches, red tail and harlequins only then contact me.

I really do not mind selling separately..

I also am not very clued up on prices, it has been years since I bought FW fish but I will list some prices.. the fish are ready to go now. They are all quite mature, I have not had a disease in the tank in years.

I am selling the tank because I am setting up a 1300L reef and i just have too many tanks now. I have been doing FW since I was a pup and although I still love the fish I don't do much with Fw anymore, my hands are always in the reef tanks.. so I am making space.

Tank, stand, shelves, poly, lights, heaters, air pump, tube, airstone, powerhead - R850
Rocks, Gravel, bogwood, plants - R500

    External Cannister Filter, pipes R400.

    Humbug Catfish - R110
    Silver Dollars x 3 R60ea
    Red Deacon R350 - booked
    Clown Loaches x 3 - R110ea
    Keyholes x 2 R40ea - booked
    Harlequins x 16 R12ea - booked
    Red Tailed Shark - R50
    Algae Eater - R60
    Breeding pair angels - R70
    Danios x 3 R6ea
    Polka Dot Loach - R120

Actually the filtration on the tank is really simple, it has been running like this for about 8 years now, Aqua H2O external cannister filter ACF 2000 and internal powerhead with sponge. I don't mind if I don't sell the cannister filter, I can use it to run carbon and floss on my new setup.

Ah nevermind, we have a similar filter then, I've been thinking of getting a second or larger filter when the budget permits :D
