Turns out they were Flying foxes, took them back to Panarama.

So those of you who are watches this thread know my battle with Cyanobacteria, and it's still on, only this time I've figured out a way to easily suck them off my MC. A little tip for anyone else battling this, besides using Scape Carbon or Flourish excel to kill it off, you can also use a normal air pump pipe, the thin ones to suck it up. The thin pipe suction is strong enough to pull the cyanobacteria off your plants without uprooting your plants. This worked brilliantly for me, especially since I have an MC carpet.

Now, this won't completely rid your tank of it as it's not dealing with the source of the cyanobacteria, but it will help it from taking over your tank and plants.

Hi all, I haven’t updated this post in awhile. Last time I had a few problems with my tank, the biggest being the battle with Cyanobacteria and then BBA outbreak.

I am happy to say I have both under control now yay! I’ve stopped dosing phosphates and haven’t seen a speck of Cyanobacteria in two weeks.

Got a few true SAE and they’ve done a great job at reducing my BBA.

Also my shrimp community has grown from about 15 lower grade CRS & CBS that I got for a very good price from Graham from gapedi tanks to over 50.

There are still a few plants I’m looking for to complete my tank, however for now, all is good and well :)

Hi all, just a little photo update of my scape. I’m almost very happy with the way it’s grown out. Done a bit of replanting with the Crypts in the back right corner.

I’m actually quite happy and proud of it now, got some new additions to my tank over the weekend, thanks to @Olivier, got some amano’s, Madagascan lace, green tiger lotus and not sure what the plant between them is. I’ve been wanting to plant some new plants in this section for awhile now, just didn’t know what yet. Here are some pics.

If it's from my tank it's Ludwigia arcuata.

So my MC decided to lift up on me in parts of the tank, I think it’s time to redo some sections on the tank. Going to take down the two peaks and redo them with the knowledge I’ve gained so far. It’s always good looking back and applying things you’ve learnt to better your scapes.
