I only had one tank that was just about the correct height for my experimentation with standing desks.

Yes I got distracted while doing some WCs

Too many years at low desks ... gotta try something new to stop me falling asleep on the keyboard.

big jim 25l container was to flimsy .... lucky logitech has me covered and now I have tunes back on the desk.

probably going to drop the water level just a bit ... that is allot of wet feet if this gives.

Floor to top of table is 45m + tank 61 cm + 6.5cm for the top = 112.5 cm

    Using https://www.upliftdesk.com/ergonomic-calculator/
    upload_2017-11-25_18-39-8.png

Surface is a bit low (115 would be ideal) but if I find this to be an issue can always just lift the keyboard.

desk still doing well, other 1/4 has reported that I spend less time at the keyboard and more staring at the fish tanks.

    Not a bad thing right.

Dropped the water level by some 8 cm

Fish seem ok with me at the glass.

Wow Ferdie, that's brave :D I'd be so nervous about something dropping in or getting condensation on my computer.

The tech has always been in the fish room - so humidity is same same .. Actually this might be safer, no more WC splashes like when it was on the floor under lucky13.

No no that is the popular yoga desk ... this one is standing. ;)

Keyboard is at elbow height when standing straight.

Above the 4ft LED tube to give you some idea.

@f-fish+plants what mat are you using there, Ferdie?

We did the standing desk thing for quite a while but eventually my feet were killing me.

Also, I'm a programmer and found it hard to focus standing all the time but maybe if I was more comfortable, I could do it again.

Normal memory foam mat and under that double yoga mat.

Thing I find, it makes you want to be more active while working so I can see why that might also be a distraction.
