    Thanks all - no secret, just double dosing excel, EI 3 times a week and Flourish Comprehensive 2 times a week. Sometimes skip water changes but try to stick to 50% weekly...

    Double-dosing Excel - that's the secret to lush plants, eh? That would explain why my anubias petite is growing rather quickly as I've been double-dosing on the Scape Liquid Carbon (yeah I know I'm taking a chance there with this one) and a friend asked me why my plants were growing so quickly where his were growing slowly.

    Yes indeed certainly good stuff indeed... luckily my tank is only 3 foot so a 500ml bottle lasts quite a long while
