Just over a year, maybe 15 months. But hacked it down less than 10cm twice already. Really easy tank to keep. I do almost no maintenance. Here and there a trim or a slash, giving away plants and cows. Suits me down to the ground because I don't want to spend hours snipping away ^-^

Really nice Adriaan, the bits of red are just enough and not overwhelming. If you rescape maybe something else then the rock heap with sticks sticking out of it that is everywhere to be seen.

    Good to hear mate!

Ah @Vis , thanks :) My main mission was a lot more red. It may still be. The plants I got from @mattlamm will help me get there. Plus I got some more wood from @Adrian . I'm waiting for my new pets from @JCL but that could take several months. No worries, next year is another year. But then I will move which disrupts things a bit. Putting an offer in on a house tomorrow. Tired of my flat. So if anyone wants to buy a flat right on the beach, ground floor, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms and a 44m^2 tandem garage in the next 6 months (as I will gut the new house and refresh it) let me know.
