I've got mine growing in ADA and Black earth. Try some in PFS you never know.

yes Montecarlo will hug the ground better than HM so easier maitenence as well, although it also grows rapidly. Mine is basically growing on rock in some places so yes it will still flourish on a pfs and CO2, much like HC would do..

Unfortunately not. Those are both males from my understanding and their behavior

 

This is the first Bolivian I got which I assumed was a female so I bought the other. The online description and the way they fight makes me think this is another male. Maybe @Dirk B could shed some light?

 

I had a pair and they laid eggs once, but even then could not tell the difference.

All good hey I'm not really doing too much. Have been waiting for months now for my building plans to be approved because of a neighbour who refuses to sign, refuses to meet us and in fact we have never seen her. The woman doesn't even have a door bell, nor a car, nor a job. Nor was she ever married, no kids, lives with her brother and lived in the darn house all her life and she is (I'm told) around mid 50's. So yeah, no moving of the tank yet. So things are idling. Even considered selling it the other day. Apart from these annoyances life is good. Quit engineering after 11 years and working for myself. Ok, going off topic, as we do on this forum. Unless things have changed since I departed Have a lekker evening, chat soon.
