Perhaps but it's not identical, and this shop has the spiralis. The spiralis has a little brown to it?

The reason I said that was because I've just bought the same looking plant two days ago and I can't figure out what it is. The spiralis was my best guess. Don't want to plant it until I know how big it gets.

Wow, sure we must have just had a massive plant import, same plants across the country and lots of it too! Happy importer!

That picture comes off the internet. Mine was bought as your photo looks. LPS didn't know what it was and neither do I.

Yeah he was trying not to laugh as I was telling the assistant that they should label all the "pot plants" at the LFS with their proper names. That's where I got my rotala from and that's why we couldn't identify the plants because they were labelled as "pot plants" :BangHead:

yeah @tapwater and I were having a good giggle at the marked words "pot plants" section because it was so funny!!! I mean who names their plant section like that? Some poor soul who doesn't know anything about aquatic plants and just dunks them there without their proper names, huh?

But I do get you - it's frustrating, even the assistant had no idea of what their proper names were and told us that they all were different with their respective colours, she knew the differences but not their names. I told her next time a plant shipment comes in, she should write them down and label accordingly. Same way with the fish so that customers know what they are getting.

naaa... mine certainly doesn't look anything like Vallisneria spiralis, and I doubt Nathanael's is too. I'm sure someone wiser will confirm, prove me wrong or convince. Clare didn't know either. She was too busy flirting with a guy buying a puppy to pay much attention.

Hey sorry man, managed to take a look and its definitely not Vallisneria Spiralis, I had the spiralis previously, this is a much stronger leaf. Let's keep hunting lol
