Never gonna happen @Linxie. It's hard to tell yourself to go home when you're all on your own in the office for the day. But this is proof once again that I shouldn't attempt to do anything before I've had my morning coffee!
Yes, here in Stellenbosch it is also raining quite nicely, so we are headed for a good old Cape storm. Overnight the weather forecaste is heavy rain! Have a nice day and take care on the roads. Kind regards, Dirk
Hectic @AdrianT. My mom and I had a ladies night out last night, she took me to see the Tutankhamun Exhibition at GrandWest. Knowing (thinking) GrandWest doesn't allow camera's inside, I left my DSLR in the car and planned to use my cellphone instead, and to my surprise when we got to the ticket desk at the exhibit, the gentleman said I could bring my DSLR inside. DOH! I wasn't going to run out again for my camera and want to bring Gareth anyway, so there will definitely be a next time For those who wish to visit the exhibit, it will be at GrandWest until 27 September 2015. I took over 90 photos and won't bombard the thread with them all... you can view the album here: http://s303.photobucket.com/user/LinkinSim/slideshow/Tutankhamun Exhibit?sort=3
Trevor gave me the only two he could spare. I brought a couple with me from KZN, so we can make a plan for a small sum.
Maybe I can try to get a couple to grow and then give everyone in the Cape here, their own private Catappa tree. They actually make very attractive house plants.
My day started with a phone call to tell me we have a new water leak on site. The sea is pouring through our wall! I got to the office and our ceiling is leaking like a sieve thanks to some guys yesterday doing a wifi installation. Now I have to go to site and stand in the rain whilst I try and figure out how to seal the leak. Woohoo for the wet weather...
