Hi all Discus fanatics! I'm David Lim, the owner of Fishio Tribe, Singapore. First, I'll have to thank Cameron and Peter for introducing me to this Forum. I've been raising and breeding Discus for the past 25 years though I'm 30 now. I've started fish keeping when I'm 4 and been introduced to Discus when I'm 5 by my uncle and since then, there is no turning back! I'm a police detective from Singapore Poilce Force before I decided to venture out as Discus commercial breeder in 2001. There, I've worked step by step towards being a licensed Ornamental Fish Exporter. Besides being an Exporter, I'm also maintaining numbers of Planted and Reef tanks for commercial offices. At te same time, I'm also involve in Koi pond filtration designs and setup cum maintenance services. Here, my hatchery consist of 119 tanks from 20 to 40 gallons. At any one time, I'll have about 30 working pairs to breed for me. In order to maintain quality, I'll only deal with my own stocks. I'm married to a fabulous wife, Claire, and we had two wonderful but naughty daugthers namely, Chloe 3yrs and Phoebe 1.5 yrs, respectively. I'm a die hard fish hobbyist too. All these while, I've been getting my hands with Altums and L46 Zebra Plecos... I hope that I can learn and share regarding fish keeping in this informative Forum.
