A visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town

I thought I would post some pictures of our visit to the two oceans aquarium on a very rainy Saturday.

Lovely pics Andre, I can see your daughter being a future aqua addict She looks very interested in whats happening in that tank.

The Kelp forest is awesome, beautiful, I could sit there all day just staring

I feel the same about the Kelp forest.   It's my favourite aquarium ever.

My daughter loves watching fish tanks.   She can stare at them forever

 

There seems to be some construction work going on looking at the first pic, what are they building, do you know?

 

I am not 100% sure, but its probably waterfront apartments.

Ive been to the aquarium only once and that was VERY long ago.

 

It's Sol Kersner's new One and Only hotel being built on it's own Island in the background.

First of all, very nice pics. I reckon those close-ups of the crayfish/lobsters and dog fish/small shark/whatever would give everyone a run for their money in the first APSA photo contest. I like them alot. Lovely jubbly guv!

I'll bet you that my son can outstare your daughter at checking out fishtanks one skat. I think its best we lay a little wager down and find out who would win in a fish tank staring contest. Wat se jy?

Those pikkewyns have just reminded me that another cold winter is around the corner... Brrrrr!!!!! :crytear:
