Can anyone please tell me where I can find curly bamboo (lucky bamboo) plants in Cape Town. Many thanks. Bella
Hi Trevor, thanks for your reply.....the picture that Shihr has posted is the plant that I am looking for....thank you Shihr for posting the picture. Bella
Will keep a look out for it, have seen it before at Woolworths and nurseries. My folks bought one back or something very similar on a ship from S.America when I was very young.. I remember we had it in a bowl with water for many years and well after I gave up my dummy .
I got one growing out my riparium. Got it at China town in Sable Square from R25 to R40 a stem depending on length.
Hi Bella, sent you a PM, we have those in stock, about 70cm and nice leaves on top, large ones R98 and smaller ones R60 Makes a stunning display in a vase with pebbles, maybe 3 or 5/7 (keep the numbers odd = good feng shui)
Sorry to dig up this old topic but I was wondering if fish etc or the China Town in Sable Square to sell these?
gwhite, go look in Chinese stores and malls they sell it much cheaper, I paid R 50 for my 10 pieces. Muuuuuch cheaper.
I know it's 4 years later, but can someone tell me where I can find lucky bamboo plants? Are they still on sale at China shops?
