Well done. Did any other SA people enter this year? I didn’t as my tanks are a mess...

Yes there was 2 south african entries, but only mine made the rankings.

I'd really like to see this tank again once it has grown out a bit on those bits of wood!

The bits on the wood is growing extremely slow. So to get them to grow in is going to take another year or 3...

I thought its time for an update on this aquarium!
And you'll see that i've taken a very risky move with my live stock, but it seems to be paying off very well!

PS watch it in full screen to see all the detail!

all tanks are ranked from first to last, been there done that...
That's nonsense bud, all tanks are ranked from first to last place, one or two are disqualified each year, usually for fooling about, such as a goldfish in a wine glass , the disqualification started when some dude left his sunglasses in the tank, lol.

All entries are published in the annual IAPLC book, so try and get this.

After the top line honours, the top hundred receive a "Winning Works" prize, the top 300 a "Fine Works"and for the remaining masses there's always next year to improve... :)

The IAPLC was well supported on the forum in previous years with at least ten entries and several in the top half of the field..

But why did they only publish the 1700 names then and not the 1977 that entered? That seems very strange to me...
