I have been thinking about this for a while. Usually when we want driftwood, it needs to be specific wood and in most cases, it will stain your water if you have not prepared it sufficiently (which can take a long time).
For me the main reason for including driftwood is aesthetic appeal. So, my idea is this, get any old wood, make sure it is dry and then coat it with aquarium safe resin. Instant driftwood that will not pollute the water.
What do you think of that idea? Any merit in persuing it further?
